The model TW61 thermowell is used for the process adaptation of a resistance thermometer modelsTR21-BorTR22-Band protects the sensor against rough process conditions. The thermowell is particularly appropriate for the adaption of temperature sensors in sterile applications as well as for CIP and SIP processes. The ease of cleaning is ensured by an optimum hygienic design. The specifications of the 3-A and EHEDG were considered. Thus, the thermowell is also ideal for aseptic processing or for temperature measurement in pure water systems.
For an integration into the process the thermowell is directly fitted into a pipeline by means of orbital welding. The connection ends are smooth and prepared for orbital welding.
The connection head including measuring insert can be pulled out. This allows the resistance thermometer to be calibrated on site along with the whole measuring chain without disconnecting the electrical connections. As this also avoids opening the process, the hygienic risk is drastically minimised.
In combination with a model TR22-B resistance thermometer and due to the rotatable screw connection to the connection head or the display, it is possible to loosen these components and to turn them in the desired direction.
